    Unique find
There was no hair dryer in the room!
Interesting old building very well restored and decorated with fascinating artefacts. Lovely patron who really cared. Dinner was superb.

    The silence of silence.
There could be more light in the room and in the dining room.
The silence of the village was relaxing. The local scenery was wonderful and the dinner and atmosphere were really good.

A wonderful surprise hidden away in Buera
La Posada de Lalola is a gem of a hotel/B&B for those who can appreciate the peaceful setting in tiny Buera. Even the best online photos don't capture the lovely and rustic ambience of the hotel. It is filled with a collection of art and books, and the restaurant dining room is covered with photos, all of which add warmth and sophistication. The rooms and bathrooms are recently designed and renovated, with AC, heat, and a tiny TV for those who need it. We enjoyed morning and evening walks down the country road past small vineyards bounded by stone fences and almond trees. Stop to break open the almonds on the stone with a rock. While walking the route, one comes across a small shrine to a saint, a path down to a river, and views of the sheer rock faces and Alquézar in the distance. Dinner was an unexpected treat made from fresh farm-to-table ingredients and was one of our favorite meals of our 10-day trip in France/Spain. The hotel owners and staff are just lovely and provide excellent service, though they are most comfortable in Spanish and French. The location is convenient to visiting Alquezar and enjoying the canyoning adventures offered in the area.

Tranquility, beautiful house, perfect hosts, wonderful food and wine. What more could one ask.
Tranquil and calm. Beautiful rooms and house. Well placed for Alquezar, hiking, and wine tours. Extremely friendly and welcoming hosts. Excellent food and wine, and not too expensive. We will return.
